ASR 3 – Generation 2 Sim Racing Chassis

The ASR 3 Gen 2 is a mid-range aluminum sim racing chassis engineered for maximum rigidity, adjustability, and long-term performance without compromise.

Generation 2 Improvements
This latest generation introduces a brand-new wheel deck design that offers greater flexibility and adjustment for precise wheelbase positioning. The chassis now features ASR’s signature Flat Face Generation 2 extruded aluminum profile and a completely overhauled assembly system, allowing for faster builds with fewer parts while significantly improving overall stability and rigidity. A new Generation 2 aluminum pedal tray and heel rest design delivers industry-leading compatibility and maximum pedal adjustability. Drawing from the ASR PRO flagship chassis, the mounting and assembly methods have been refined to provide exceptional stiffness and strength.

Performance & Construction
Built on a 3-inch aluminum profile base, the ASR 3 is designed with one goal in mind: zero flex and no weak points. It is robust enough to support belt-driven and direct drive wheelbases while maintaining excellent value. Although it does not use the heavier profiles found on higher-tier models, it is constructed from top-grade alloy aluminum sourced in Canada. Each chassis is produced and packaged in Canada with meticulous care.

Adjustability & Ergonomics
The ASR 3 offers a highly adjustable wheel deck, allowing drivers to create a customized and optimal driving position. Pedal height, angle, and position are easily adjustable to suit different driving styles and comfort preferences. While pedal angle adjustment is slightly more limited compared to the ASR 4 and ASR 6, it remains more than sufficient for most sim racers. The chassis comfortably supports a wide range of driver heights, up to 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 m).

Finish & Appearance
The ASR 3 is available in a durable Matte Black powder-coated finish. ASR’s proprietary powder coat formula provides enhanced scratch resistance and long-lasting durability while giving the simulator a clean, professional appearance. All steel components, including wheel mounting plates and pedal plates or trays, feature a textured matte black powder-coated finish.

Wheel Deck Options
The ASR 3 is available with four wheel deck configurations to suit a wide range of wheelbases.

The Standard Wheel Deck supports entry-level and mid-range products from manufacturers such as Thrustmaster, Fanatec, and Logitech.

The Podium Side Mount covers the full Fanatec lineup.

The Front Mount is designed for MiGE motor-type wheelbases, including Simucube, Simagic Alpha and Alpha Mini, VRS, and other front-mount systems.

The Asetek Front Mount option is available exclusively for Asetek products.
